My Child,
Before you were formed in your mother's womb, I Knew you.
I Chose you and I Brought you into this world.
I Have held you in the Palms of My Hands, from the beginning of time.
And I Have never let you go.

If some of you feel frustrated - or if some of you feel that I Am miles away from you, My Child, it is not I Who moved. I Have Been here, all along; and I Have Watched over you, from the beginning.

You have moved, not I!
If you desire to feel My Closeness, the solution is extremely simple.
All you have to do is reach out to Me; because I Have Promised that
      I Would never leave you, nor forsake you. 

Let go of everything that is stressing you out.
Let go of everything that is drawing you away from Me.
Instead, reach out and Touch My Hand.

As you come to Me 'in faith,'
     I Will Meet you with Open Arms.
As you reach out to Me 'in hunger,'
     I Will Fill your mouth with every good thing.

You are so very precious to Me.

I Have Planned your destiny, every step of the way.  And even if you take a wrong turn sometimes, My Grace is bigger than any failure, any misstep, any derailment.

I Love you.
And I Delight in being there for you.

Even if you have sinned.
Even if you are full of the flesh.
My Loving Arms still stand, wide open, to you.

I Want to help many of you to break yourselves free of worldly things.  I Want to put each and every one of you on a new path. A path that will lead you to unprecedented victory and abundant blessings.

I Do not intend for you (or any of My Children) to be in this world struggling, just barely making it. 

I Want you to live in abundance.

So take My Hand, and open your heart to Me - so that I Can Bless you.

First Wrap Day - Sunday, July 21st

Hi CBR's It Works peeps!  So today I got on the scale (yikes), took my body measurements (waist, hips, bust, upper arm, thigh - oh boy) and applied my first wrap to my waist only.

I applied the wrap and then did 3 wrap arounds with saran wrap.  Then just to make sure nothing moved around, I put on my flexees (better than spanx, but same concept).  

It burned just a bit, but nothing super uncomfortable or concerning.  Kind of like mentholatum feeling (and scent).  My initial It Works Distributor kit had a 4 wrap pack.  So that's what I'm using.

It said 45 minutes for a first timer, but I did 50-55 minutes.  I did want to drink water while I had it on and after.

When I took off the flexees, the saran wrap was noticiably looser (I wrapped it pretty tight).  I removed the saran wrap and the It Works Wrap.  My skin every so slightly burned and I wiped off with a wash cloth and wrapped a towel around my waist to dry off (didnt want to rub my skin any more and cause possible irriation).

After around 5 min of having the towel wrapped around my waist, I removed it and pulled out the trusty tape measure, and........ (drum roll).

I went down an inch.  #Wow  #Amazing  #ItWorks!

I could be Wrapping this WHOLE room!!! - Saturday, June 29th

I attended Zane's boot camp today and I'm just thinking, OMG I could be promoting to this whole room.

The great thing is that I've decided to do something that would be great, something I believed in.

I spent the remainder of my Saturday checking out the It Works website and wondering how my own would look.

I was ready, It Works!!!

Houston, I think we have synergy - it all starts with a text - SIGN ME UP!!!! - Thursday, Jun 27th

So I went into work not really thinking about the It Works wraps and around the afternoon, I was like - I need to go ahead and sign up.

And the texting commenced.

I hit Joy up around 1 pm and said "J. This is rachel.  Can you chat for a sec now or later this evening.  I want to ask y about the its a wrap weight loss wraps.  Thx!!!"

That day, Joy happened to be out with Monica promoting the wraps.  She text me back and the last line, "Funny I was talking about you to her on our ride to gtown."

And as they say, the rest is history.

Joy and Monica came by the office and we discussed all the nits and bits, the ins and outs, and I was hooked.  I knew that I could balance this with my work and other committments.  In my mind, I was crafting how I would sell and I was excited because for me, getting in the gym was such a struggle. I was recovering from a car accident that had left me with serious back spasms and pain and after a full 10, sometimes 12 hour days at work - I felt like this would jump start my weight loss and would work hand in hand with a work out regiment.  

As usual, I had a full schedule with medication on tap every evening.  But Sunday, was going to be my day.  The day I become part of the It Works family.  

It Works, I've never heard of it....but I'm listening - Saturday, June 22nd

So I'm back posting right now.  On the "It Works" Monday conference call as I build something that very well may be bigger than me.  And that's allll right!!

So on Sat., June 22nd I attended a 2nd Annual Ladies First Breakfast by the African Women's Cancer Awareness Association.  I was really happy to attend the event with my DPR family, invited by Joy.

The fashion show (produced by Joy) was great and I really had a great time.  As everyone was leaving - I was checking out the vendors tables and there was a green (my fav color) table with alot of little cards and information on it.  And some ladies in some "It Works" t-shirts.  And I was instantly curious.  I had no idea that Joy was even a part of "It Works" - but I was really, really curious.

Monica was working the table and so I just "ear-hustled" the conversation that Monica was having with someone and I instantly knew that I needed to do that.  I heard about earnings, being a distributor, healthy products and body wraps that helped you to lose weight.  And in the bits and pieces that I heard - I knew I was in.

I sidled my way to get closer to the table and managed to get one of the info cards.  And I said cavalierly to Monica, "I just wanted to grab some info, thanks."  I didnt want talk about wraps, I didnt want the sell, I wanted to hear what the initial buy in was.  You see, I spent money on ACN (one of the first 5 links type companies), about $ 500 and I never sold or did anything.  Selling phones just seemed, well 'not me'.  Then I went to countless 5 links info sessions.  And I said no everytime.  I just cant sell something that I dont believe in.  So I wondered as I ear hustled, what is the amount of money needed.....

And when I heard the amount, it was mentioned as I was ear hustling, I was sold.  I knew I would go home and do my research.  And I knew that this was for me.....
